Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THIS week's prize-winner is Mr. T. B.

Blackham, of Dudley, Worcs. Mr. Blackham says that he has successfully used a tool many times to withdraw the copper injector washer on the Ford 4D and 6D engines. The tool (shown in the illustrations) is made of *in. silver steel. This is inserted into the injector hole at an angle, and is brought up slowly until the edge of the washer is felt. It is then brought over to the upright position, the taper end being forced under the edge. The washer can then be lifted out easily.

Comments Handyman: The copper washer described can indeed be troublesome. The tool described could well simplify the task if neatly made.
