IT is now known that the lightweight integral-construction double-decker which is being developed by a leading Btitish maker (The Commercial Motor, April 17) has a rear engine, a Wilson gearbox, and a number of other unconventional details. The production model is likely to have independent suspension.
There is a strong call on the Continent for rear-engined vehicles.
