of Wincanton Logistics, has been elected president of the Freight Transport Association.
He succeeds Lawrence Christensen, who has led the 11,000-member organisation for the past four years. ETA presidents are elected annually, but they traditionally hold the post for two years.
Lawrence takes over from Christensen on 1May.
