• US parcels firm UPS has bought Cuallado, one of Spain's leading express carriers. The acquisition is the company's tenth in Europe, and provides UPS with an established Spanish network of 98 offices, 1,500 staff and 750 vehicles.
P&O divisions
• P&O Roadways has restructured into six geographical divisions, to help concentrate its marketing efforts. Six new area managers have been appointed as part of the changes.
