Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Seddon Atkinson is working closely with the Cornish Brewery to produce a sfirnline brewery vehicle for high street deliveries in the West Country.

Brewery distribution mana ger Derek Payne says the vehicle will comprise an extended version of Seddon Atkinson's 2.24m-wide (7' 4") municipal chassis, fitted with a I two-man day cab and air suspension. The Perkinspowered 16.250 should offer a payload of around 9.6-9.8 tonnes. Payne hopes the vehicle will be ready in time for the Motor Show in Birmingham this September.

The new rigid should prove its worth in Cornish high streets such as St Austell where there can be severe access problems.

Cornish Brewery is also planning to try the German Cleenburn system on its topweight tractive unit, to evaluate the maker's claims that the system reduces fuel consumption, cleans up emissions and prolongs oil life.

If the Cleenburn system proves successful, it could be fitted to another development being considered at the Cornish Brewery — an aerodynamic-artic. Payne says that preliminary development work with Southfields Coachworks and Seddon Atkinson suggests fuel savings of up to 12% could he achievable.
