Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

▪ Souriau has brought out a new range of two-post baseless lifts with a capacity of 2,500kg. Model 42625 has assymetric arms and model 42650 has a new-style assymetric platform with adjustable lifting pads. Both models allow vehicles to be lifted on the jacking points near the sills.

Control of the single 3kW motor is via a low-voltage (24v) system and these electromechanical lifts operate via a new overhead screw and nut incorporating a long-life constant lubrication system, the arms being raised and lowered by duplex roller chains attached to the carriages.

An overhead beam creates the strength between the columns, says Souriau, so that there is no need for extra strong foundations.

Clearance between the columns is 2,500mm with an overall outside dimension of 2,970mm at the footplates and clearance beneath the overhead beam is 3,300mm with a maximum lifting height of 1.950mm.
