Hitherto, the four ATP test chambers in this country have insisted on testing insulated bodies with retiigeration units.
One major effect will be to reduce the cost of ATP certification, The ATP agreement sets technical standards, particularly for coefficient of heat transfer, for equipment used in the international carriage of perishable foodstuffs.
It has no legal force for vehicles used solely on domestic work in this country, btu has come to be accepted generally as a quality assurance standard.
