AA/BM RESCUE, the British Road Services commercial vehicle recovery service, reports record business of up to 700 distress calls a day in the current freeze-up.
The company expected increased activity and recruited 30 per cent extra staff to give it the combined resources of 3,200 AA patrols, over 7n0 appointed agents and 1511 BRS depots with 1,000 recovery vehicles.
