AVIS Truck Leasing and Rental has promoted David Brooks to the new position of UK fleet manager with responsibility for fleet planning and vehicle specifications.

Mr Brooks was previously district manager for South London, and in his new position he will be based at Avis Truck's headquarters at Hayes, Middlesex.

Crane Fruehauf Ltd has narrred Roger Hewitt as UK sales administration manager, with overall responsibility for the company's plant sales offices. In his new position he will be based at Toftwood, Dereham, Norfolk. He was formerly Crane Fruehauf Ltd's tank sales manager.

John Holliday has joined KEW Sales, supplier of highpressure water cleaners and sandblasters to agriculture and industry, as marketing manager responsible for the company's overall marketing, advertising and public relations activities in the UK and Ireland. Mr Holliday previously ran his own company — KEW Pressure Washer Services.

National Tyre Service Ltd has made Austin Stewart the new divisional manager for Northern Ireland. Mr Stewart was previously with the Pirelli Tyre Company.
