WEST MIDLANDS PTE r have to cut back its servi before it seeks another ft increase this year.
This was said by the Vt, Midlands Traffic Comrnissi ers when they granted PTE's latest 17 per cent ft rise.
They are concerned t WMPTE is trapped in a w, inflation spiral, and that public may not be aware how serious the problem is.
Fares were last increasec August 1979.
