THERE are now well over 11m. com mercial vehicles and 6+m. cars registered in Great Britain. The total number of mechanically propelled vehicles (including motorcycles and roadgoing tractors) registered rose last year
from less than 10m. to over 101m. These figures are given in a Ministry of Transport table enumerating all vehicles with valid licences in the last quarter of 1962.
