Charles Lee Crossley's case is due to reach Trafford Magistrates on 12 June when police investigations by the Greater Manchester and Cheshire police forces will be co-ordinated.
Crossley, of Crowsdale Place, Stockport, has already been charged by Greater Manchester police For obtaining 0,000 by "falsely representing" to a person wishing to set up in the haulage industry that the payment would secure both a goods vehicle and work. Cheshire police are continuing their inquiries into Crossley following similar allegations against him. Crossley has already elected for trial at the crown court for the Greater Manchester charge.
