• The Bristol centre of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition is organising a transport and trade display in conjunction with the LDOY round at Hengrove Park, Whitchurch in Bristol on 11 June.

• The Forward Partnership organisation of Stratford-uponAvon is holding a seminar called Marketing the Future Image of the Road Transport Indu,stly at Leamington Spa Town Hall on 8 July.

IT'S A KNOCKOUT

• The young executive section of the Road Haulage Association is holding an 'It's a Knockout' event on 8 July at Woolton Leisure Centre near Warrington.

Sponsored by ERF trucks and Perkins Engines, it will feature a funfair, side shows, a bouncing castle and a truck pulling event with a 2100 prize. All proceeds will go to charity.
