Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DAF TRUCKS is to revise its 16-ton gvw rigid range in 1985 to make it more attractive to UK operators, although any plans to introduce new models into the British 10 or 7.5-tonne sectors remain as yet unconfirmed_ In an exclusive interview with CM, Daf Trucks' worldwide sales and marketing director, Cor Baan, said that the 16-ton 2100 would be improved "specifically in the areas of kerbweight and fuel economy".

Mr Baan was reluctant to divulge any details of a rumoured 7.5-tonne Daf for the UK, although he said research had been carried out into a number of potential markets including the British 7.5tonne sector which he described as an extremely important market.
