BRITAIN has told Thailan that it will match an unex pected offer of financial ai from Belgium, which vâ– ioffered to support Van Hoc in its rival bid to that of Le-y land to clinch the major bu contract for Bangkok Ma5. Transit (CM, May 11).
The Bangkok deal wil involve the supply of 4,50 buses.
Leyland Bus is part of consortium with the Nation, Bus Company and MV. Consultancy in the deal whic includes management, eng neering and training services.
