FELIXSTOWE haulier Russell Davies has made a number of senior management appointments as part of a restructuring exercise in which the company's activities have been split into three key divisions: Russell Davies Services (RDS)/Russell Davies (Europe) (RDE); Russell Davies Haulage (RDH); and PCS.

RDE/RDS is responsible for two major Russell Davies' in-house accounts — Geest North Sea Line and Evergreen/Greenjack — and is headed by managing director, Glyn Davies.

RDS, which is primarily involved with the Evergreen/ Greenjack account, has seen two new appointments. John Williams has been made general manager and Don Skil ling, deputy general manager.

Charles Garn has been promoted to general manager of RDH and given a scat on the board.

RDH has also appointed new managers for its Manchester and London (Barking) depots. Richard Devine is responsible for the present operations and future development of Russell Davies' new Manchester facility, while Michael Excell takes over at Barking.

Colin Lowe has joined the organisation as general manager of PCS, responsible for its operations in Felixstowe and Ipswich.
