• Atkinson Borderer two-axle tractive units are now available with the Rolls-Royce Eagle 280 engine. The turbocharged engine has an installed power rating to BS AU141a: 1971 of 272 bhp at 2100 rpm. Maximum torque is 778 lb ft at 1400 rpm.
A Lipe Rollway twin-plate clutch is utilized driving a Fuller RTO 9509A ninespeed range-change gearbox.
