Laurie Dealer watched in anguish as the England World Cup campaign crashed and burned in Soul Africa on Sunday.
And unfortunately the dismal performance of the squad means the discount scheme offered by Commercial Vehicle Auctions (CVA) has not amounted to very much at all.
The deal, as Dealer understood it. was that for every two goals scored by England throughout the World Cup, CVA would offer 50% commission off each vendor lot for its truck and trailer sate on 13 Jul
Perhaps OVA should have offered the same discount for every 10 stray passes, hie evasive shrugs, and two gentle jogs back into position each highly paid England international made durir the campaign.
