GIANT brewer Whitbread has ordered 0.1 million worth of Dodge 14.5 tons GVW 100 Series Commandos from Chrysler.
The full vehicle specification for the 128 Dodges has been developed with Whitbread over the past two years to provide a suitable low-loading height for palletised delivery throughout the country. They will be fitted with Boalloy curtain-sided "Tautliner" bodies.
The G15s have a 460cms (181in) wheelbase, are fitted with the Perkins T6.354.3 engine, Chrysler six-speed synchromesh gearbox, single-speed axle and the Hi-Line tilt cab.
