ANOVEL mobile exhibition stand, with luxury living accommodation for six to eight persons, made its first appearance last week at the Lincolnshire Show and will be on view at the Royal Show, Shrewsbury. Claimed to be the first of its class, it is made and exhibited by the Lines Trailer Co., Ltd., Scunthorpe, and is based on a fourwheeled trailer chassis which can be drawn by a 20 h.p. car.

When it is stationary the title headboard is raised, and a hinged platform lowered from the side, to expose two large french windows which can be swung at right angles to the body to form a wind shield. The centre section of the trailer forms a reception and conference lounge, which is furnished with armchairs, a table, and has a cocktail bar in one corner. The lounge could, if necessary, be converted for the display of machinery or equipment.

There is an office-dining room, which is also convertible to a bedroom, adjoining one side of the lounge. At the opposite end of the trailer is the c24 kitchenette with full cooking and toilet arrangements.

The main section is panelled in grey quartered sycamore and ebony, whilst the office has cherry-mahogany panelling. A large settee arranged along the off side of the trailer is convertible to two-tiered berths for sleeping accommodation. The office contains a cedarlined wardrobe, chest of drawers. writing table, mahogany glass-topped table and two seats which fold down tc form sleeping accommodation for twc persons.

Power and lighting equipment including the water-pump units, aR operated from a 24-volt circuit. Batteries are carried in addition to a 250. volt transformer which is fitted for sites where the main supply is available. A telephone jack forms part of the offiet equipment. Two G.E.C. Aero fans ar: provided for use in, hot weather.

Aluminium is used for the extenioi panelling and the trailer, complete witl furnishings, weighs under 3 tons. It has an overall length of 22 ft. and is 7 ft 6 ins. wide. The windows, of specia: design, are similar to those of a Pull. man railway carriage.

This type of mobile exhibition static is now being produced for banks ant building societies.
