There are water lifters and injectors, packings and jointing's, lubricators and other fittings, and a useful collection of engineering tools and special appliance such as reseaters for valves.

DRUMMOND BROS., LTD. Stand 143

The chief exhibit of this well-known Guildford company consists of a neat and strongly made petrol-paraffin power unit, of 3 b.h.p., known as the Willing Worker. This has a horizontal cylinder of 4 ins, bore, whilst the stroke is 6 ins., and the normal speed 600 r.p.m. It is shown in many appli, eations—driving saws of the circular and cross-cut types, and can also be employed with a dynamo to form a reliable producer of electric energy.

An exhibit of considerable interest on this _stand is the complete steel-barrel stillage installation for the bulk-storage of Gargoyle Mobiloil; there are also sample tins, etc., of Gargoyle products in the way of oils and greases for steam and petrol vehicles and agrimotors of all types..

PRICE'S PATENT CANDLE CO., LTD. Stand 179 This company have won an excellent reputation for their various lubricants, etc., and they were practically the first successfully to lubricate 'internal-combustion engines—their gas-engine experience in this connection dating from 1874, avhilst for motor vehicles they entered the field in 1894. The samples staged include Belmoline C and U.M.P. greases for hall bearings and useful oil cabinets.

HOPE, HARTOPE AND CO. Stand 208 Lubricating oils and greases of excellent quality for petrol and steam vehicles and agrimotor's are shown in their various distinctive tins, etc. They are the well-known Buffer brand, and there are also Buffer, Egelbo and Arlocovu steam cylinder oils.

THOS. MOSCROP AND CO., LTD. Stand 210

Drums, barrels, tins, etc., of Lion brand lubricants, including Lion ' B" heavy, Lion "E" medium and Lion "Ford" oil's, are staged on this stand. There are also drums of steam wagon, tractor and other special Oils, including a non-freezing type.

NORTH BRITISH RUBBER CO., LTD. Stand 211 The exhibits of major interest to our readers are the solidband tyres for tractors, wagons, etc. They are known as the North British Clincher.

036 BRITISH PETROLEUM CO., LTD. Stand 251 Vaporizing oils for tractors and oil engines and samples of B.P. motor spirit, together With exhibits depicting the storing, packing and distributing of these products, are the chief items on this stand.

SHELL.MEX, LTD. Stand 252 A handsome pavilion houses the samples and packages for same shown by this company. Not the least interesting are the working models Of buses, wagons, etc., and the go1A-fish

by whichthe non-poisonous ,properties Spramex roaddressing material are demonstrated. The packages represent Shell oils and spirits,' Empire vaporizing oil and Mexplialte for road construction. •

PASTNUT. Stand 272 Examples of the well-known Fastnut Spring washer and a special ratchet spanner with no moving parts.

ANGLO-AMERICAN OIL CO., LTD. Stand 274 Of striking interest on this stand is the demonstration of direct petrol supply by Golden Pumps from bulk-storage tanks ; in addition, there will be sample packages for Pratt a Perfection spirit, Pratt's benzole mixture and Pratt's No. 3 spirit. A useful device which is showu is the Angloco Deptho-meter, for ascertaining the contents of bulk-storage tanks.

A. A. JONES AND SHIPMAN, LTD. Stand 275 Examples of the J. and S. valve reseaters for truing both valve faees and seats; also simple types for performing these operations separately and large garage sets. "

STERNS, LTD. Stand 455 This company show their famous Sterntrac oils and greases for agrimotors, steam vehicles 'and traction engines; oils for particular makes of vehicle, including Fordingoyl, Sentenol and Fedinol, and a tractor gearbox in motion by which the special clinging properties of Ambroleum gearbox lubricant are demonstrated.

ELECTRIC LIGHTING PLANTS.

Self-contained lighting plants, consisting of a petrol or paraffin engine connected to a suitable dynamo, are securing an increasing vogue and are proving of great use for country garages, etc. These are to be Seen on the following stands— Stand 106, R.
