Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Engine Oil.driven • Locomotive. • The Blackstone agricultural tractor has been altered slightly since we last .saw it. Tho most obvious alteration is immediately to be noted in the absence of belt pulleys; these for the future are to be fitted only at option and at extra cost. The More important alteration is not so obvious, in that the engine now requires petrol for. starting purposes. The coinpressor and self-starter are still used, but the ignition is now by h.t. magneto, and this has necessitated the use of the spirit for the first few revolutions. The complete self-starting outfit, needing no petrol or other aids, is still fitted to the oil locomotive, of which one is shown.

An entirely new Blackstone production is the 60 h.p. ploughing engine. This, too, is equipped with the compressed-air starter, which is a valuable. accessory in a two-engine set.
