Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Tractor. i A 6-ton undertype steam wagon and a 4 n.lr.p. compound steam tractor are to be found staged by this company. The wagon has a double H.P. engine on roller and ball bearings, with the exception of the big and small-ends. Much attention has been paid to the. design of. the vertical boiler, and this has now been further improved by positioning the door for clinkering-out at the hear side instead of in front, thus avoiding a front seam. The usual big inspection plate for tube inspection, etc., is situated at the front, and access to this is given by a hinged portion of the front plate. The oil pump is driven from the water-feed pump, and is fixed to the water heater .so that the oil is kept warm. Two speeds are provided, together with a free engine position, and there is double chain drive to the rear wheels, which are mounted on a dead axle.

Dished front wheels enable centre-point steering to be obtained. A new feature is the use of metallic glands with adjustable springs. Braking is effected by shoes expanded in the rear-wheel drums by a hand lever and a pedal, and the throttle is foot controlled.

Wide single Dunlop tyres are used on the back wheels. The tractor has an auxiliary valve to give double H.F., two speeds, winding drum containing the differential gear on rear axle and screw-down block brake acting on the inside of one
