just won't lie downnot just yet at any rate. Despite the fact that new versions of Berlingo and Partner have been launched, Citroen and Peugeot are continuing to market their predecessors, albeit as a restricted range. Prices are low, which should appeal to businesses on a tight budget.
Top payload starts at 600kg in both cases, and you get a 2.7m3 cargo bay for your money. Although they are now considered a bit long in the tooth, First and Origin still handle well and pack some impressive diesel engines.
The ride could be improved, however, which is a consequence of the age of their desgn.
You get a roomy cab with plenty of headroom, and a driver's seat that is positioned at just the right height for anybody who has to hop in and out of the vehicle umpteen times a day delivering packages. Both examples have a reputation for being sturdy and dependable.
