Wisely not throwing the baby out with the bathwater, Daf has retained the strengths of the XF95 predecessor, and, while it's not the most aerodynamic cab around, underneath, there is a bang-up-to-date Paccar MX driveline.
Despite its considerable size, the high-roofed XF drives extremely well, and scores highly in the aspirations of many operators and drivers alike.
Excellent build quality, a wide range of options and good Europe-wide back-up keep this big Daf riding high in the sales charts. Cab security is also worth a mention. There is now a (retrofittable) dead bolt included as an option, which shows Daf listens to those at the sharp end when it comes to overnight safety.
