Finally launched at the 2008 UK CV Show, Isuzu's oftpostponed Forward range comes with Euro—sized cab, disc, ABS and ASR brakes all round, and. at last, the indicator stalk on the right.
It is sure to be popular with utilities and own-account light construction fleets, the Forward is backed by lsuzu's deservedly good reputation for excellent reliability and strong after-sales service.
Factor in a suspended driver's seat, good build quality, a tough lsuzu engine and the known longevity of existing smaller tipper chassis, and the Forward should sell well in both fleet and retail markets, especially with the security of a three-year warranty.
Perhaps the greatest strength of the Forward Series (like the Hino 500) is Its relatively unsophisticated EGR-based cirivetrain, and the fact that you can be happy behind the wheel in a matter of minutes. In short, it's the ideal fleet and, in particular, rental chassis.
