The G series aims to bridge the gap between the lowmounted P series and highmounted R series cabs, and provide Scania with a contender to tackle the strong challenge from Dal's LF and Volvo's FM in the middleweight sector. No Topline sleeper, but a Highline option makes the G series cab viable for longer distance distribution work, especially In the increasingly popular three axle rigids.
Anew high datum interior package has been launched along with a range of Euro-5 engines, including a 13-litre.
The drive line (and many other components) is the same as in the smaller P series, so there's plenty of torque on tap.
