The addition of the new Optitronic automated shift (Renault's version of the Volvo I-Sync) puts the Midlum on a par with its peers, and enhances a truck already popular with a number of national fleets, including the AA.
Overlapping slightly with the heavier Premium range at 18 tonnes, the Midlum is the chassis to go for if payload and manoeuvrability are top of your priorities. There's a big choice of engines, including one from Deutz, and the option of an Allison automatic gearbox. Inside, the cab is attractively laid out and can be finished with a number of interesting trim packages.
