Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

While the Avia D75 has a great deal of positives going for it on paper (proven Cummins-ZF driveline, a simple chassis design, including the option of a mini-artic and a stylish cab), UK buyers are still not being convinced in the required numbers.

A number of false starts under previous Daewoo branding did nothing to inspire confidence within the market. and it's largely been an uphill task ever since.

As this is round-up is being written, and with a few weeks of 2008 left to go, the chances of registrations for the year reaching 20 seem rather remote at best.

With newer products being released into and new entrants from the likes of Hino, the job doesn't seem to be getting any easier with time.

To overlook the D75 wouldn't be doing it justice. Granted, it doesn't feel quite as complete as some of its rivals, and the interior doesn't fully convince, but the proven driveline and a competitive list price must count for something.

However, your best chance of seeing an Avia currently is when they are converted into an Edison by Smith Electric Vehicles.
