Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Blessed with excellent engines that pull strongly right the way up the rev range check out the 2.5litre in particular and unimpeachable build quality, Volkswagen's Transporter has a whole host of virtues.

These virtues include drama-free handling, a precise gear change, respectable fuel economy and some healthy residual values.

A wide choice of body configurations, payload capacities from around 800kg to in excess of 1.2 tonnes, plus the availability of chassis cab and 4x4 derivatives means that there is something to suit pretty much everybody.

There are plenty of places in the cab for drivers to put all the bits and bobs they like to carry around with them. A comfortable driving position plus a supportive seat should ensure that whoever is behind the wheel is still smiling at the end of the working day.

Transporters two biggest drawbacks, though, are its unimaginative styling and its dull but worthy cab interior. However, try to put them to one side. These are the sole downsides to a vehicle that is a true winner.
