Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The big change to the Caddy line-up in recent times has been the addition of the Maxi.

With a wheelbase extended by 319mm and a rear overhang increased by 151mm, it offers more carrying space than its stable-mate, but shares the smaller model's virtues of irreproachable build quality and top-notch diesel engines.

Both models also boast an impressive ride. sharp handling and an exemplary gear change, but wind and tyre noise could stand to be better suppressed and Caddy/Caddy Maxi's styling does not set the pulse racing. To call it bland is being kind.

Rather more interesting is the optional six-speed Direct Shift Gearbox it can be used either as a manual or an automaticand VW's decision to make available a Caddy that will run on compressed natural gas. A low CO2 emission BlueMotion Caddy is likely to appear on this side of the Channel, too, and a 4x4 is also on its way.
