• William Jackson Bakery has replaced half its 100strong delivery fleet with lveco Ford Cargo box vans financed by leasing firm Key Lease, part of GE Capital Services.
• The Ministry of Defence has renewed its £6m contract with Wellingboroughbased United Carriers to move all its non-armoury supplies between bases. United has held the contract since October 1994.
• Bulk transport firm Hoyer UK has awarded its tyre contract for the next three years to Associated Tyre Specialists. ATS will supply Michelin tyres.
• Hoyer has won the contract to carry out chemical manufacturer Bush Boake Allen's packaging and warehousing. Under the terms of the contract Hoyer will collect BBA's bulk material and will transfer it into drums for supply.
• Leighton Buzzard-based pallet distributor Mini Clipper has joined Pall-Ex network. The company, which has traded for 30 years, operates 30 trucks.
• Harrow-based Ranger Plant Hire has bought 16 Thwaites site dumpers from local dealer Leach Lewis • The Preston depot of parcels delivery firm ANC has won a contract worth £50,000 a year to distribute stationery and computer supplies for Burnley-based FH Brown.
