)NY GILROY, Freight Rover's lanaging director for the last vo years, moves today to beme managing director of Land Dyer.
Mr Gilroy, an Irishman, is relacing Land Rover's present ianaging director, Mike Hodgnson, who is leaving BL to purue a career outside the motor iclustry. Until a successor is apointed, Mr Gilroy will continue ) be in charge of Freight Rover. Before joining Freight Rover n its formation, Mr Gilroy wa$ lirector of manufacturing operaIons at the Austin Metro car facory at Longbridge. At Freight lover, he has masterminded the escue and revamping of the lherpa van, and has progressed ilans for the MT210, the 3.5onne derivative which will be 3unched later this year.
