I N the first 11 months of this year Ford of Britain exported 30,900 commercial vehicles to more than 100. overseas territories. They earned £185 m. in foreign currency. The i1-month figures show an increase of 1,000 over the same period of 1963, when 29.900 units were sent abroad.

Ford expects that the year's earnings of foreign currency by its commercial vehicles will top the £20 m. mark for the first time. South Africa, where 4,559 units have been sold in 1964, remains one of Ford's best markets. This figure represents an increase of 33.7 per cent over 1963 sales.
