IMPLIFIED conditions of carriage, involving an increase in liability for damage or loss of from £400 to £800 a ton, are put into effect today by British Road Services.
Time allowed for claims against nondelivery is extended. Claims must be notified in writing .within 28 days, and submitted within 42. (This has been applied in practice for some time.) The number of conditions has been reduced from 38 to 15.
