DR. A. J. HOLLAND, of the Triplex Safety Glass Co., Ltd., has been elected a Fellow of the Society of Glass Technology, of which he is a vicepresident.
Me. A. T. SIDWELL has been appointed a director of the Car Collection Co.,
Ltd. He joined the concern in 1950 after having been with Daimler, Rootes and Nuffield.
MR. C. H. F15HER, director of parts, sales and service of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., has left the company to take up a special assignment with G. M. South Africa, Ltd., for three months.
Me. A. HEALEY, an executive director of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., is to retire after more than 38 years' service. He was mainly associated with research, development and production and became a director in 1942.
MR. H. F. GODDEN has retired after over 34 years of service with the National Benzole Co., Ltd. In 1921, he became the company's motor transport and equipment manager and during the war was seconded to the Petroleum Board.
MR. R. A. CALUS has become traffic manager of Birch Bros., Ltd. In 1949. he was appointed traffic manager of Newbury arid District Motor Services. Ltd., a position which he held until the acquisition of the concern by the Themes Valley Traction Co., Ltd., in 1951, since when he had served as Newbury traffic superintendent.
