Ds an all-round transport but the i Hawk has never shied from admiring a shapely bus, even whistling softly when a particularly fine pair go by in the street. It has always been so with the Routemaster double-decker, still serving the Capital proudly as well as finding new roles outside passenger transport. One of the more original incarnations has been its adaptation as a mobile optician by three Kentish businessmen. The bus serves villages in the garden of England and is truly a welcome sight for sore eyes, saving villagers a wait for the bus into town.
