IDcrress Joanna Lumley's celebrated visit to parliament last week was part of a delegation from Compassion in World
Farming complaining about the transport of live animals to Europe. Her companion in the black cab taking her to Westminster was a cute pink piglet, Babe. The taxi driver, an old hand at delivering MPs to the House, is reputed not to have noticed the porcine presence, only to ponder which of the right honourable members was accompanying the Absolutely Fabulous star.
