Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Transport and General Workers Union leaders in the London area have dropped calls for London weighting in annual pay agreements, and have settled on an £11 a week rise for HGV drivers.

However, 38-tonner drivers will get £11.40 a week more with an 8.5% rise for non-HGV drivers and other workers. Subsistence increases 21.20 to £16.20, and sick pay goes up to 284 per week.

After five years' service, workers will gain an extra day's holiday for every extra year worked up to a maximum of 25 days.

The East Midlands has settled on a 7.9% rise.

Devon and Cornwall truck drivers receive a 210.50 across-the-board rise, with subsistence payments up 21.10 to £15.10.
