• Trent Motor Traction has bought a dozen more Volvo double-deckers following "impressive" results with its first batch of 12.
The Alexander D 10M buses, which are being used on routes out of Nottingham, cost some £2 million and feature added stanchions and clearly marked interiors.
The Volvos are Trent's first new full-size buses since 1986. They replace double-deckers at Hucknall and Langley Mill, which are being held in a reserve fleet.
