Called the Camelback Pallet Trailer, it comprises a removable trailer bed fitted to pickme-up dollies. On-vehicle hydraulics can be used to drop the trailer bed at a delivery. The trailer dolly is then attached to the tractive unit which raises it above the road for transportation. Shugart Manufacturing, which developed the system, says the Camelback Pallet Trailer offers up to 13.7m of load space on the drop body.
