THE FOLLOWING major motorway and trunk road repair schemes are likely to cause some delays to operators over the next few weeks, and should be borne in mind ifjourney times are critical.

• M25 Kent. Between Junctions 2 and 3 (Dartford/Swanley). The right-hand lane of both carriageways will be closed for 0.2km for the construction of extra gantry bases. Until February 10.

• M2 Kent. At Junction 7 (Brenley Corner). Remedial work on slip road to London-bound carriageway. Until the end of February.

• A I (M) South Yorkshire. Wadworth to Blyth section, southbound carriageway closed. Northbound traffic on slow lane of northbound carriageway and southbound contrallow on to fast lane. Work continues until early March. Delays expected.

• M II Essex. Between Junctions 6 and 7 (Eppingll larlow). Moderate delays expected on February 2 due to closure of the southbound carriageway for resurfacing.

• A6 Bedford. Ampthill Road reconstruction work up to the end of February. Diversions in operation, with single-line traffic.

• Al3 Plaistow (Essex). Carriageway restrictions on Newham Way until beginning of March.
