TALKS are continuing Ix tween 1)angel, the Frenc four-wheel-drive spccialisi and Peugeot Talbot over th possible sale of 4x4 504 pick ups (CM, November 31 1985) in the UK.
CM understands that th only obstacle now stoppin Peugeot from bringing in th all-wheel-drive 504, which converted in France b Dangel, is price, althoug negotiations are continuing.
Peugeot is about to revis its 305 car-derived van rang in the UK, replacing the cut rent 55kW (74hp) 1,472cc pc trol engine with a 1,580c 60kW (80hp) unit with a five speed gearbox.
The 1.6-litre overhead cam engine is al ready fitted in the Peugee 34/9 and 305SR cars.
The higher-powered 30 petrol vans are expected to g4 on sale around June. Dies( 305 models will continue int, the 1987 model year with th existing 48kW (6411p) 1.9-litr engine.
