CHRISTIAN SALVESEN is to build a S:9 million regional warehouse development for Marks and Spencer as part of the "continuing development programme for its distribution activities", Salvesen says.
It has been selected by Marks and Spencer to build and operate one of the first of a new series of regional warehouses.
The first, at Hardwick, near Warrington, will handle local distribution of all clothing, homeware and some food lines for Marks and Spencer stores in North-West England with a new dedicated fleet of vehicles.
Work has already started on the I6,700m2 facility.
