ANTI-WAXING LYRICAL • Despite the improved lowtemperature rating of current diesel fuel it may still be a wise precaution to treat it with a secondary additive, if this week's sudden cold spell is an indication of what is to come.
Waxbreaker diesel fuel antiwaxing additive, from Kamm has been re-formulated to give a higher degree of protection. The standard dosage rate of 1:1,000 lowers the vehicle's operability to around —22°C, while other components are incorporated to improve lubrication and the cetane rating to give easier starting.
