• Fast-growing independent operator Jubilee Coaches of Stevenage has put six new buses into service — three Leyland Lynxes and three Duple-bodied Leyland Tigers.
The Lynxes seat 51 with 22 standees; the heavier Tigers can carry 55 with 23 standees.
Earlier this year Jubilee started six commercial services in Stevenage, following deliv ery of part of a leased fleet of MCW Metroriders which run under the Road Hoppa banner. Until all 26 are delivered Jubilee is running four Metroriders hired from Northumbria Motor Services.
Jubilee recently won two routes, previously operated by London Country North East, on tender to Hertfordshire County Council.
