Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BECAUSE OF their compact construction, installation of a range of gearbox-mounted air-control units for the Tecalernit Airdromic chassis lubrication system is easy on almost any type of vehicle. The range is also designed to eliminate the need for additional drive components as compared with the previous models.

All models available—the range covers the majority of heavy trucks and p.s.v. made in the UK—employ the same basic air-proportioning unit and different types of attachment flange or coupling are provided to suit alternative methods of speedometer drive.

On vehicles with a mechanically driven speedometer, the control unit is mounted directly to the gearbox and accepts the existing speedometer-drive connection. On vehicles with an electrical-impulse speedometer unit, the control unit is installed between the gearbox and generator.
