FOUR vehicles on B licence have been granted to Jodrell Transport Co. Ltd. of Knutsford to carry for Cerebos of Middlewich. The application was heard before the North Western deputy LA last month (CM, November 17), when it was revealed that the directors of Jodrell had previously " carried the traffic as owneroperators on sub-hire to Pointons Fuel and Transport Ltd. Following unfavourable publicity, consequent upon Pointons being fined at Sandbach magistrates' court last May, Cerebos had ceased using that firm.
