confirmed its ride and drive fleet for Commercial Motor Live 2013. Among the 10 trucks are nine Euro-6 models, including two tippers.
There are eight on-road trucks for event visitors to drive on Millbrook Proving Ground's test tracks; all are Euro-6 (unless stated otherwise): FL210 12-tonne 4x2; FE280 18-tonne 4x2; FE320 26-tonne 6x2; FM11330 6x2 rigid; FM11-410 4x2 tractor; FH13460 6x2; FH13-500 6x2; and an FH13-750 6x2 Euro-5, Volvo is joining Iveco, Mercedes-Benz and Scania in the Tipper Zone, where operators can test tippers on Millbrook's off-road circuit. Volvo will have a Euro-6 FMX13-420 8x4 with a Boweld body and a Euro-6 FM11-450 8x4 with a Wilcox body for test.
It will also have some static trucks on display, including two FH13-460 4x2s, one with a sleeper cab and the other with the Globetrotter XL cab.
Volvo MD Ulf Magnusson told CM he was looking forward to meeting so many "wonderful and much-valued Volvo customers and transport operators from across the UK and Ireland, whatever make of truck they run".
Commercial Motor Live takes place on 2 and 3 October at Millbrook Proving Ground.
