CM's great deals This Scania R440 won't be around for Long...
OUR USED truck of the week is this extremely clean three-year-old Scania R440 6x2 twin-steer tractor.
The truck, which has 467,000km under its belt, is fitted with a well-equipped Topline cab. Power comes from the 440hp version of Scania's DC13 12.7-litre engine, which uses EGR to achieve the Euro-5 emissions regulations, so there's no need to worry about AdBlue.
It has the two-pedal version of Scania's Opticruise transmission, and rides on steel and air.
Other features worth mentioning are the alloy wheels, a fixed fifth wheel, air conditioning and an 860-litre fuel tank.
The truck, which is one of four almost identical tractors offered by vendor Keltruck, is in excellent condition and has recently undergone a respray.
The Scania R-series is held in high regard by used buyers, with Euro-5 R440s proving particularly popular. With this in mind, the truck is unlikely to grace CM's classified pages for long.
